woah

No lie, it's really attractive when a man can figure out what's wrong with something, and then immediately starts fixing it. O.o

Painting Update Sept 23-30th

My new paint arrived this week. The Williamsburg paint makes this fantastic crunching noise when you mix it with a palette knife. I did a few studies to experiment with what kind of colors i could make. They make pretty fantastic and unusual neutrals.

WN Cerulean Blue, WILL Alizarin Crimson, WiLL Raw Sienna

WN Flesh Tint, WILL Ultramarine, WILL Brown Pink

I did my first palette knife painting in figure painting and decided to try it out again...with spock. It's a bit too texturey though..

Painting Progress Sept 16, 2011

I'm working on two paintings right now. Each is about halfway towards completion.
Large Interior. I was going to make up the space in the far left, and in the end decided that painting what is there (my bed with it's bright quilt) was necessary to keep the room from feeling too open. So..I'll get started on that eventually. Lots of patterns in here. Not giving away any secrets.
Self portrait with laundry basket.
